Anneaux en étain massif, fondus à la terre de Delft, dégrossis et limés à la Dremel.
Chaque pièce est coulée selon la mesure exacte de mon annulaire gauche (diamètre intérieur fixe : 17 mm, taille 53). Aucun ajustement n’a été réalisé.
Fabriqués compulsivement, ces 17 anneaux sont des récepteurs issus d’une double nécessité : neutraliser une saturation intérieure, apaisée par le travail en série, et un besoin viscéral d’inscrire ma présence diffuse dans la vie quotidienne d’autrui. Lors de la transmission de la bague, le lien sera créé de façon pérenne.
Porter cet étain mou, c’est prêter un doigt à une mémoire collective et intime, accepter de laisser un objet lourd, sensible aux coups et fondu dans un matériau pauvre, rappeler ce lien à l’existence.
Conditionnement : Sachet plastique (pacson) et étiquette tamponnée à l’encre (01/16 à 16/16).

Solid pewter rings, cast using the Delft clay method, then rough-shaped and filed with a Dremel tool.
Each piece is cast to the exact size of my left ring finger (fixed inner diameter: 17 mm, size 53). No adjustments have been made.
Created compulsively, these 17 rings serve as vessels born of a dual necessity: to neutralize an internal sense of saturation—soothed by the act of serial production—and to satisfy a visceral need to embed my diffuse presence into the daily lives of others. Upon the transfer of the ring, an enduring bond is established.
To wear this soft pewter is to lend a finger to a memory that is both collective and intimate; it is an agreement to carry a heavy object—susceptible to dents and cast from a humble material—that serves as a reminder of this connection.
